BRAMLEY BOWL
Well done the Bramley Bowlers a convincing 8-0 win sending Palmerston down to the Trisham and we keep our place in the Bramley for next year. Adam White keeping his early overall lead and Dave Sims supporting at home to ensure 6 points were obtained. Bonus points came from Graham Robinson pinching a 18 -17 win on the last end and Dick Holden winning also on the last end.
National COMPETITIONS
Any sides getting into the area semi finals at this late stage is good news. We had to get a mens four through with Melvin Sallis pipping Graham Robinson on a second extra end in the quarter final.
Melvin now the sole survivor in the singles - played Paul Coleman at Egham and lost.

LADIES COUNTY Competitions
Margaret Holden and Jan Cooper have reached the Final for the Unbadged Pairs and could meet Margaret Leppard and Mary Harris. Well done to all in reaching this stage.
DENNY CUP
First round against Paddington on 17th October resulted in a win - 98-64. With all rinks winning and some big scores in the run in - Dick Holden picking up an 8 and finished 26-15 - Adam White with his comfortable lead dropping 7 to finish 35-18. Hounslow proved that little too much - we were ahead at 18 ends but the finish sank away and overall result loss by 9 shots.(82 -73)
EGHAM
First round against Longmeadow added to the clubs misery losing on 3 rinks - only Graham Robinson’s rink with Dave Turner, Jan Currell and Sheila Crowe finding the Home Green advantage.
TOURQUAY LEISURE TOP CLUB
1st attempt in this mixed event against THE LAWNS resulted in loss 2-3 in the first round - pairs and triples winning leaving Dick Holden’s foursome to get a tie to win - not making it!!
